Drawer babies. or the Great Bassinet Emancipation

We had this brilliant idea that instead of getting cribs in Luka and Annika's room, we would use a playpen with two bassinets instead.

But as it turns out, both kids would roll in toward the center divider and onto their side, a no no for SIDS. 

So, with great ideas, come great failures, but innovation too! After much experimenting and some fretting, Luka and Annika spent last night sleeping in the drawers from our dresser.

Not to be defeated, we went with old school tradition, a little innovation, and some very modern styling in the particular drawers we picked. And how cute is that?!

Now, off to IKEA for a crib!
